This is the English version of our Privacy Policy. A Chinese version is available at /privacy.html. In case of any discrepancy, the Chinese version governs for users in mainland China.

Shenzhen Chainfun Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") operates the Miaoyan AI Keyboard application ("the App"). We understand how important your personal information is to you, and we take appropriate security measures to protect it in accordance with applicable law.

0. Service Availability and Data Location (please read first)

All cloud data is stored on servers located in mainland China. We do not currently operate servers outside mainland China.
The App is not offered to, and is not intended for, users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. If you are located in these regions, please do not use the App.
By using the App from outside mainland China, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to and processed on servers in mainland China.

2. How We Use Information

To provide core features: AI reply suggestions, text polishing, screen recognition and speech-to-text
To count AI usage for membership services
To improve and optimise the quality of our AI output

3. About the AI

Our AI reply feature is implemented by calling compliant third-party large language model APIs (DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude and others). Speech-to-text is implemented via the iFlytek MSC SDK. Conversation context you enter is processed locally and sent in de-identified form to the model provider solely to generate reply text. Voice recordings are used only for conversion to text and no audio is retained. We do not use your input data to train models.

All AI-generated content is a suggestion only. The decision whether to send it is entirely yours.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties other than as described above or as required by law.

5. Your Rights

Access — you can view saved contacts and conversation records inside the App
Correction — you can edit contact information at any time
Deletion — you can clear chat history, delete contacts, or permanently delete your account and all associated data via Settings → Account Security → Delete Account
Withdraw consent — you can revoke clipboard and microphone permissions at any time in your device settings

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in section 8. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Data Security

We protect your data using SSL/TLS encryption in transit and database access controls. All cloud data is stored on compliant servers located in mainland China. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

The App is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If you are under 14, please use the App only under the guidance of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
